As a Dish Room Employee
, you play a vital role in our chocolate production process, contributing to the creation of high-quality confections that our customers have come to love. Your responsibilities include operating dishwashing machinery, handling and mixing cleaning chemicals, and ensuring that all dishes and equipment are cleaned efficiently and promptly. In this position, you will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, collaborating effectively with your team members, and participating in cross‑functional training opportunities.

- Operates machinery, equipment, and tools in a safe and proficient manner according to standards, guidelines and instructions.
- Performs clean‑up activities as assigned.
- Cleans dishes up to RSC standards to ensure only the finest quality candy is made.
- Keeps the work area clean and in working order.
- Handles and mixes chemicals.
- Wears all necessary PPE provided by company.
- Adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure product quality and maintain compliance with food safety standards.
- Completes and follows FSQA training and programs to comply with regulatory requirements, ensure consumer safety, and support the plant's food safety and quality objectives.
- Promptly reports and takes appropriate action on any observed or potential food safety hazards, process deviations, or non‑conformities by notifying the designated plant supervisor, in accordance with your role and responsibilities.
- Actively contributes to the continuous improvement of the company's Food Safety Culture through engagement and actions aligned with your role.

Do you have what it takes? (Basic Qualifications)- Must be 18 years or older.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to speak, read, and write English fluently, with or without an accommodation.
- Ability to routinely lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to routinely and frequently stand, stoop, bend and lift overhead.
- Ability to stand on hard surfaces.
- Ability to read and understand rulers, tapes, scales, and thermometers.
- Must have the ability to work in warm and humid environments for extended periods.
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to read and understand product specifications and recognize deviations.
