Job Summary
We're looking for a highly motivated Network Systems Engineer to join our Network Operations Team on a contract-to-hire basis, requiring 4 days per week on-site in Corte Madera. The ideal candidate should be eager to transition into a full-time role, bringing a consultative mindset and a solid technical foundation in key networking technologies. This role demands exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of network infrastructure, and the ability to work effectively with cross-departmental teams for troubleshooting, installation, and configuration of network systems.

Contract Type: W2 / C2C | Duration: 6+ Months | Pay Range: $70 - $75 per hour on W2 or C2C |
Location:
Corte Madera, CA (4 day onsite)
- Install, configure, and manage network infrastructure including LANs, WANs, wireless networks, and firewalls.
- Ensure network security and compliance with IT policies, PCI, and SOX.
- Troubleshoot network problems, collaborating with ISPs or vendors as necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive network documentation and perform network performance monitoring and tuning.
- Support 24x7 network infrastructure, participating in on-call rotation.
- Profound knowledge of PAN Firewall and Cisco Networking.
- Proven experience with SDWAN and wireless network management.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for network analysis.
- Must have experience working in a Retail/eCommerce organization or a fast-paced, highly virtualized environment.
This opportunity demands a candidate located in SF or North Bay (Marin County, Novato, San Rafael) due to the on-site requirement in Corte Madera four days a week.
