Position Overview

The Store Business Owner leads the retail team to meet and exceed daily, weekly and monthly sales goals, manage store financial plans, and create a collaborative selling environment.

Responsibilities
  • Drive sales performance of key metrics such as conversion rate, units per transaction, and sales per hour.
  • Use company tools and resources to assess business performance, develop action plans, celebrate wins and address opportunities.
  • Recruit, pay, hire, and terminate all store personnel; coach and resolve conflict to build a high‑performing team.
  • Facilitate onboarding, training, and succession planning for new hires and associates.
  • Manage payroll, scheduling, labor costs and ensure store staffing aligns with traffic patterns.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through receiving, sending, price changes, and ticketing procedures.
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are met and adapt store layout to drive sales.
  • Create a compelling in‑store customer experience by modeling appropriate selling and service behaviors.
  • Build community relationships, foster inclusion and diversity, and support local community events.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Progressive retail leadership experience with proven coaching, training, and supervisory skills.
  • Self‑starter with a growth mindset and ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions and lift up to 40pounds; must have reliable transportation.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Knowledge of ADA accommodations and commitment to provide reasonable accommodations.
Benefits & Compensation
  • Base salary range: $64,700 – $107,900 annually; total rewards include performance incentive plans.
  • 401(k) match up to 125% of contributions, up to 6% of salary.
  • Paid time off: 3weeks (first year) growing to 4+weeks thereafter.
