Job Description

The ideal Salesperson is passionate about fashion and styling and has the ability to cultivate and grow a customer following, both digitally and in store.

• Set and achieve sales goals for both in store and digital selling using selling tools (text and social media).
• Build lasting relationships with customers.
• Provide the best service to customers on their terms.
• Give honest and confident feedback about style and fit.
• Seek fashion and product knowledge to build expertise.
• Work with the team to keep the department customer ready, including filling orders, stocking, re merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning.
• Grow relationships by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.

The hours and schedule will vary by week depending on business needs. The role may require occasional duties in a different department.

Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers. Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling. Handle bulky and awkward items, including lifting items above the head. Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 lb and occasionally up to 25 lb.

Pay range: $20.15 per hour. Commission typically ranges from 3% to 14.5% on apparel, shoes, and accessories; beauty and men’s fragrance sales receive 3%.
