R Plant Operator (Open) – Cortez, CO.
Pay: $24.50 per hour.
Schedule:
7am–7pm.
- Load, weigh, and package dry‑ice products into containers (blocks, pellets, slices) per customer orders.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet weight, density, and packaging standards.
- Operate production machinery and material‑handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Accurately log production numbers, shipping manifests, and inventory usage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility to support a safe working environment.
The role is primarily in the production area (≈85% of time), where temperatures vary from warm in summer to cool in winter. Personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, gloves for dry ice) is required. Approximately 15% of time is spent on office data‑entry tasks.
QualificationsRequired:
- Must be 21years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Basic arithmetic skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percent, ratio, and fraction calculations.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
Preferred:
- Two or more years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
