Position: (USA) Coach/Ops Mgr Trainee

Position Summary

Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates touring stores and providing feedback. Tour-to-Teach communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations utilizing technology business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions. Communicates business objectives to teams effectively. Models exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model.

Manages and supports customer service initiatives for example store of the community and community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints and issues are successfully resolved. Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies and provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high quality customer experience. Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL profit‑loss statements, assisting in budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses.

Monitors inventory flow, operational processes and develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink. Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring and setting expectations. Promotes a belonging mindset in the workplace. Coordinates job‑related activities and assignments, building accountability for and measuring progress. Ensures compliance with company policies and supports company mission, values and standards of ethics and integrity.

Works collaboratively to build strong trusting relationships and embraces cultural diversity. Attracts and retains the best talent and recognizes contributions and accomplishments. Acts with integrity, supporting Walmart’s goal of becoming a regenerative company. Serves customers and members, delivering results while putting the customer first, and balances short and long‑term priorities.
