Lead ASME​/PED Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer with expertise in ASME and PED standards to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of static equipment design, ASME certification processes, and the ability to manage and update documentation in response to Inspection Agency findings.

• 8+ years of experience in static equipment design and ASME certification documentation.
• Proficiency in ASME Sec VIII, IX Code requirements, welding, and interpretations.
• Experience with WPS development and review, ensuring documents reflect current materials and processes.
• Ability to prepare and maintain WPQRs and facilitate WPQ testing and documentation.
• Proficiency in design and calculation software (PV Elite, Compress, etc.).
• Expertise in stress analysis, load calculations, and material compliance.
• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent.
• Prior work experience in the client's industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

• Experience preparing PED technical dossiers and CE marking files.
• Ability to identify gaps in current practices and recommend corrective actions.
• Strong training and compliance skills, with experience in developing and delivering training programs.

• Draft, revise, and validate Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Coordinate with quality and engineering teams to ensure WPQRs meet regulatory standards.
• Conduct training programs and refresher sessions for welders and inspectors.
• Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits related to ASME certification.
