Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Infection Control RN to join our team at Crown Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. As an Infection Control RN, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our residents by implementing and maintaining infection control practices throughout our facility. With a focus on quality care and compassion, we aim to provide an exceptional experience for our patients, residents, and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct surveillance and monitor infection control practices to identify areas for improvement

• Develop and implement infection control policies, procedures, and protocols

• Conduct training and education on infection control best practices for staff

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to reduce infections and improve patient outcomes

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to infection control

• Maintain accurate records and reports of infection control activities

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in infection control

Requirements:

• Current RN license required

• CDC Infection Control Certification (or must obtain shortly after hire)

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills

• Experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred
