Position SummaryThis recruitment will be used to fill up to two (2) part-time (maximum of 24 hours per week) Operations Assistants for Student Experience and Engagement (SEE) at Oregon State University (OSU). SEE is an umbrella organization that includes support for the Craft Center, Community Engagement and Leadership, Diversity & Cultural Engagement, Orange Media Network, Program Council, and Student Organizations. Student Experiences & Engagement is searching for up to two Operations Assistants to join our team.
This in-person position will support the unit by checking out equipment, assisting with administrative tasks and providing thoughtful customer service. We are looking for a team player who is dependable and proactive.

In this position, students learn and build vital career-readiness skills in the primary areas below:
Communication, Critical Thinking, Teamwork, Professionalism
- Greet visitors, students, and staff at the SEC fourth floor welcome desk
- Assist SEE Operations pro staff with administrative tasks as assigned
- Manage check out, reservation, and coordination of OMN equipment and SEE event resources in the relevant systems (Fusion, Ideal-Logic)
- Monitor SEE wide office supply inventory and notify pro staff when stock is running low
- Respond to emails and answers phone calls
- Distribute school newspaper (Barometer) to off campus locations once per month
- Manage conference room reservations
- Communicate with SEE Operations team through daily logs and Teams chat
- Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study
- Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment
- Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard
- High School student:
Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home‑schooling program - Undergraduate and post‑baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term
- Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term*
- Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term
- Graduate international student officially admitted to Graduate School: 9 credit hours per term*
