Work Coordinator / Office Assistant - Facilities Services Position Summary
This recruitment will fill two part‑time Work Coordination Center Office Assistant positions (max 24 hr/week) at Oregon State University. The assistant supports daily operations of the Work Coordination Center, including customer service, calls, emails, work‑order creation, and clerical duties.
Responsibilities- Greet walk‑in customers
- Answer phones and respond to emails
- Create and manage work orders
- Perform clerical duties and other tasks assigned by staff
Academic
- Enrolled in high school, community college, or university
- Maintain academic standing; students on academic suspension are ineligible
- Enrollment requirements: high school (regularly enrolled or homeschooling), undergrad (≥6 credits/term), undergrad international (≥12 credits/term*), grad (≥5 credits/term), grad international (≥9 credits/term*)
- International students may be admitted to a reduced course load with approval from Office of International Services and Student Employment Center
Additional Required
- Good organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience creating spreadsheets
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
- Data entry experience
- Experience with work‑management software
- Anticipated hours: 20 hours/week
Critical or security‑sensitive position. Must complete a criminal history check and be position‑qualified per OSU Standard. Must also complete a motor vehicle history check, hold a valid driver’s license, and be eligible to drive university or personal vehicle on behalf of the university.
