Executive Assistant

Benton County is seeking an Executive Assistant to join the Community Development Team. This position serves as the executive assistant to the Director, supports the coordination and efficiency of department operations, and provides support to commissions and committees that are staffed and administered by the Community Development Department. This position also provides administrative support to the Community Development Department by coordinating and managing day-to-day office support operations.

The annual salary range for this position is $55,559 - $79,583. This position guarantees two salary raises within your first year as long as your performance is in good standing. Salary placement will be based on your level of directly related experience and education consistent with Oregon's pay equity law.

Minimum qualifications include an associate's degree from an accredited college and five years of responsible administrative or related support experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Special requirements include a cover letter and a resume that highlight your specific executive assistant experience, past experience coordinating schedules, meeting logistics, and expenditure monitoring.

Preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities include experience in local government, planning, building or economic development, notary public licensure, and the ability to multi-task, be precise and accurate in work, be self-motivated, and maintain confidentiality.
