Benton County is seeking an Executive Assistant to join the Community Development Team.
JOB SUMMARYThis position serves as the executive assistant to the Director, supports the coordination and efficiency of department operations, and provides support to commissions and committees that are staffed and administered by the Community Development Department. This position also provides administrative support to the Community Development Department by coordinating and managing day-to-day office support operations.

- Annual Salary range of $55,559 - $79,583

salary placement will be based on your level of directly related experience and education consistent with Oregon's pay equity law.
The following minimum qualifications are required for this position:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited college; AND
- 5 years of responsible administrative or related support experience.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Special Requirements- A cover letter and a resume are required to be submitted with your application which includes the following information:
- Provide details regarding your specific executive assistant experience
- Highlight your past experience coordinating schedules, meeting logistics, and coordination (including agenda preparation and minutes taking).
- Highlight your experience with expenditure monitoring and overall executive support.
Skills and Abilities
- Experience in local government, planning, building or economic development.
- Notary public licensure.
- Ability to multi-task; precise and accurate in work; self-motivated; maintains confidentiality.
