Position Summary
Four part‑time Graphic Designer positions for Recreational Sports, 10–15 hours per week, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday‑Friday, Student Employee.
Responsibilities- Design print and digital deliverables using Adobe Creative Cloud, ensuring alignment with OSU branding, accessibility standards, and inclusive design practices.
- Collaborate with clients and Marketing & Communications staff to define project goals, applying active listening, critical thinking, and professional communication.
- Manage projects and deadlines, using project management tools to organize tasks, track timelines, and maintain clear communication.
- Support team initiatives, working collaboratively on a variety of projects, showing initiative, adaptability, and a commitment to professional growth through teamwork.
- Maintain professional standards, upholding accuracy and attention to detail in all work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and complete tasks on time, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain design concepts to non‑designers.
- Excellent attention to detail; proofreading and quality assurance for both print and digital materials.
- Commitment to accessible and inclusive design practices, ensuring compliance with OSU accessibility standards.
- Commitment to providing an exceptional client experience, including active listening, responsiveness, and professionalism.
- First Aid, CPR / AED for Healthcare Provider and DRS Bloodborne Pathogens certifications required before employment.
- Must be an enrolled student (high school, community college, or university), meet academic standing requirements, and satisfy the applicable minimal enrollment standard.
- Strong preference for students enrolled in OSU’s Graphic Design Program.
