Call Center Consultant

Overview

Call Center Consultant I at Oregon State Credit Union, based in the Operations Center, Corvallis, Oregon.

• Answer member inquiries using multiple databases and software programs, including eligibility, credit cards, policies, and loan application information.
• Identify caller needs and provide solutions that best fit their situation.
• Contribute to a collaborative team of under 25, focusing on service over statistics; support team members and the organization with high-quality customer service during regular business hours (Monday–Friday).

• High school diploma or GED
• Customer service experience and exceptional phone skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to spot and research anomalies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products; comfortable with computers
• Strong attention to detail, time management, tact, and ability to make sound decisions
• 1–2 years of financial industry experience preferred

• Work type:
  Full-time, on-site, non-exempt
• Compensation: $21.41/hr plus bonus and incentives
• Hours:
  
  8:00 am–5:45 pm, Monday–Friday; no weekends or nights
