This recruitment will be used to fill one (1) part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Impact Studio Website Developer Intern for the Office of Provost and Executive Vice President at Oregon State University (OSU).

The Impact Studio is where teams of faculty, staff, and students develop and launch bold initiatives that advance Oregon State's strategic goals and improve the university's financial strength. This position will work on a variety of website development, content management, and digital marketing efforts for Impact Studio, using a content management system (Drupal) to support and enhance our online presence. The role includes tasks such as editing, adding, and removing website content, improving site design and user experience, and contributing to outreach strategies that promote the studio's initiatives.

Position Duties

The student web developer intern will perform the following tasks:

* Manage and maintain website content using Drupal 10.

* Add, edit, delete, and organize content across the website: improving look, design and user experience.

* Apply web programming skills using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including tasks that may be performed outside of Drupal using version control platforms (e.g., Git Hub) as needed.

* Assist in improving the website's layout, design consistency, and user experience using available Drupal themes and components.

* Ensure responsive design compatibility across various devices and browsers.

* Upload, edit, and optimize visual media such as photos and videos.

* Perform light content editing and proofreading as needed.

* Assist in documenting best practices and internal guides.

* Participate in marketing and communication initiatives including brainstorming strategy, improving user engagement, and supporting outreach content.

* Contribute ideas to help Impact Studio improve its online presence and overall visibility.

* Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

* Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study

* Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment

* Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard

* High School student:
Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program

* Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term

* Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term
* * Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term

* Graduate international student officially admitted to Graduate School: 9 credit hours per term
* * International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified above and still be considered "full-time" by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). A reduced course load is approved by the Office of International Services (OIS), and must be provided to the Student Employment Center.
