INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANT II – Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education (EI/ECSE)

This dynamic role supports students, families and their colleagues in the learning environment. Working with kids and helping them learn academically, socially and behaviorally is what we do and this role is at the heart of this work. This ever changing and rewarding work is paramount in the success of every classroom.
Qualifications- At least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant college level course work preferred.
- Three years experience working with children in paid or volunteer capacity.
- Working knowledge of developmental and physical disabilities in children.
- Experience working as a member of a teaching team.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of computer programs including word processing and databases.
- Meet requirements of finger‑print based criminal history record verification.
- Such alternatives to certain above qualifications may apply as deemed appropriate by the Superintendent and/or Board of Directors.
