• Ability to support self-contained and/or resource classroom models

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, families, and support staff
• Adapt general education lessons and create targeted instructional strategies for student needs
• Manage and track student progress toward IEP goals
• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations
• Deliver direct instruction and differentiated interventions in either self-contained or resource room settings
• Serve as an advocate for students, promoting their strengths and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment
