Instructor Pool – and Fall Term 2026:
Botany & Plant Pathology Lab Position Overview
The Department of Botany & Plant Pathology invites applications for one or more fixed-term, non‑tenure‑track full/part‑time Lab Instructor positions to teach on a term‑by‑term basis for the 2025‑2026 academic year. Some appointments may be reviewed for renewal or transition to an instructional position on an annual basis at the discretion of the Department Head.
Key Responsibilities100% – Instruction. Deliver laboratory instruction to undergraduate and graduate students, prepare lab materials and schedules, grade assignments, and maintain an engaging learning environment.
Qualifications- Bachelor of Science degree in Botany, Biology, or a related field.
- Evidence of commitment to cultural diversity and educational equity.
- Master’s degree in Botany, Biology, or a related field is preferred.
- Teaching experience at the college or university level.
Position may require driving a university or personal vehicle; applicants must complete a motor vehicle history check, possess a valid driver’s license, and self‑report convictions as per University Policy 05‑030.
