The World Languages & Cultures Program invites applications for one or more fixed-term, non-tenure-track, full/part-time Spanish Instructor positions on a term-by-term basis for the academic year. Some of these appointments may be reviewed for renewal or transition to an instructional position on an annual basis at the discretion of the Director. The World Languages and Cultures program offers both in-person and online undergraduate majors and minors in Spanish, French, and German, as well as a dual degree in Global Studies, minors in Linguistics and Japanese, and additional language instruction in ASL, Chinese, Italian, and Korean.
It is part of the School of Language, Culture, and Society, which also includes undergraduate and graduate programs in Anthropology & Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies; an undergraduate program and graduate minor in Ethnic Studies; minors in Indigenous Studies, Latinx Studies, Social Justice, Queer Studies; and a certificate in Food in Culture and Social Justice. Our School values interdisciplinary collaboration, community-centered research, and socially transformative learning.

Qualifications:- Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Spanish or related field. Evident commitment to educational equity. - Preferred Qualifications:
PhD in Spanish or related field. Demonstrated ability to design, teach and assess courses that support inclusive learning principles and promote equitable teaching practices, to the benefit of all learners.
