Job Summary:

The School of Visual, Performing and Design Arts is seeking an Art Figure Model. This is a part-time (.25 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position.

Key Responsibilities:

Course Instructor will provide all directions to the incumbent in this position. Works on an intermittent, on-call basis depending on the department needs each quarter. This is mostly nude figure modeling. Must be able to hold poses for 30 to 45 minutes over the course of a 3-hour course session. Average work time is 6 to 10 hours over the 10-week course.

The artist model assumes and holds various poses, mostly nude, for a specific period ofttimes so that drawing, painting and sculpture students can study the human form and produce associated art work. A variety of body types, ages, and sexes will be needed for the students to draw throughout the year.

Must be over 18 years of age. Must be willing to model in the nude.

Salary Range: $16 -$18 per hour
