- Job Summary

We are seeking an R&D Engineering Manager to lead a diverse team of engineers in developing and improving innovative products. You will be responsible for the full product lifecycle-from concept and design to testing and commercialization-ensuring that designs meet customer requirements and quality expectations. You will act as a key liaison between R&D, NPI, and Manufacturing teams across Corvallis, Singapore and HPMM.

Key Job Responsibilities and Objectives

Perform all the required management duties including:

* Cascading prioritized objectives

* Setting team and individual objectives

* Resource planning and execution

* Completing performance conversations

* Giving actionable feedback

* Recognizing contributions

* Managing budget and spend

Assure the Team delivers to Program Milestones:

* Understanding of the PDP and TDP

* Help the team understand the tradeoff space

* Understand the print markets and what the business and customers expect from the new designs

* Partner with Hardware, Process and Tooling, Product and Product Integration engineering teams

Required Qualifications

* Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field).

* Experience:

5+ years of experience leading engineer teams as program manager or engineering technical lead

* Technical

Skills:

Strong understanding of Project Management Fundamentals, PDP and TDP, manufacturing processes, DOE, and statistical process control.

* Leadership:
Demonstrated experience leading teams and developing high-performing teams. Demonstrated people leadership and development skills including interpersonal, teamwork, mentoring, technical development, motivational, and communication skills

* Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

* Partnering:
Cross Cultural work experience

Preferred Experience /Skills

* Previous Management Experience

* Experience with Design and Reliability Predictions

* Managing budgets

The pay range for this role is $130,700 to $175,000 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
