Join our team as a Structural CAD/BIM designer Intern in Corvallis, Oregon, who is excited about designing everything from new, multi-building complexes to intricate historic structure renovations. We’ll rely on you to support our teams on critical projects while fostering a culture of continuous learning and inclusion.
You’ll work alongside professional engineers and designers, gaining exposure to project coordination, relevant CAD/BIM software, data collection and more. As part of our Intern Program, you’ll also engage with interdisciplinary counterparts and senior leadership – giving you a chance to network, explore the company, and learn more about our dynamic industry. what you'll need
- Currently enrolled in a CAD, Drafting, or Design Technology program (Computer‑Aided Drafting, Drafting & Design, or similar)
- Interest in pursuing a career as a Structural CAD Technician or Design Technician
- Familiarity with CAD or drafting software
- Ability to work 16–20 hours per week during the school year. More hours are available during the summer.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Exposure to Bentley, Revit, or AutoCAD
- Experience working with 2D technical drawings
- Interest in learning 3D BIM tools over time
- Reliable, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn

CompensationThe base salary range for this position is $47,300.00 to $58,000.00; though it will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
