Responsibilities
  • Reviews and evaluates product designs and bills of materials to identify failure modes and develop recommended spare parts list.
  • Reviews and evaluates supplier production activities for compliance with manufacturing guidelines, quality processes, and standards; provides tangible feedback based on results to improve product quality and mitigate risk of product failure.
  • Monitors field performance metrics and works with Procurement and Supplier to identify and prioritize issues, develop resolution plans, and drive performance improvements.
  • Supports field failure escalations including part identification, spare part availability, short term mitigations, and alternate part sourcing.
  • Communicates and collaborates with management, internal, and outsourced suppliers, manufacturing, and development partners to develop and implement changes to product or process to reduce defects, improve quality, and lower costs.
  • Executes assigned technical regulatory and conformity requirements (e.g., CCC, CEL, KC/KCC, NOM, ISO/IEC) for PWI products and spare parts in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Supports regulatory applicability assessments using defined SOPs and decision criteria; escalates unclear or higher‑risk scenarios to senior compliance stakeholders.
  • Assesses compliance readiness for NPI, engineering changes, supplier changes, and regional expansions, identifying when regulatory updates or actions are required.
  • Partners with Global Trade Compliance, Logistics, and Regional Operations to resolve compliance‑related shipment issues or customs holds.
  • Assists in resolving customs or shipment holds related to technical compliance documentation or certification gaps.
  • Continuously improves individual regulatory knowledge and maintains awareness of updates to applicable standards and requirements.
Knowledge and Skills
