Role Description The Commercial Lines Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Medford–Grants Pass Area. This position is responsible for managing a book of commercial accounts, including handling day-to-day service requests, processing policy changes, and coordinating renewals. The Account Manager communicates directly with clients to respond to inquiries, provide coverage explanations, and assist with claims-related questions. The role includes preparing proposals, reviewing coverage options with producers and carriers, and ensuring accurate documentation in agency management systems.

The Account Manager also collaborates with internal teams to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, support cross-selling opportunities, and follow agency procedures and compliance standards.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess skills in Commercial Lines Coverage and Insurance to effectively analyze risks and advise clients on appropriate policies.
  • Candidates should possess Account Management skills to handle renewals, policy changes, documentation, and overall stewardship of client relationships.
  • Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to respond promptly to inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain a professional, client-focused approach.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of Employee Benefits as it relates to coordinating or supporting commercial client programs.
  • Proficiency with insurance agency management systems and standard office software (e.g., CRM tools, Microsoft Office).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Prior experience in commercial insurance or a related field; active Property & Casualty insurance license or ability to obtain one within a defined timeframe.
