Hours:

M-F 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm. May eventually be moved to swing shift.

As a Chemical Manufacturing Operator, you'll play a key role in supporting the production and purification of high-quality chemicals.

You'll work closely with the production team to ensure safety standards are upheld and operational efficiency is maintained in a fast-paced environment. Your efforts will directly contribute to the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

What You'll Do As a Chemical Manufacturing Operator, you will be responsible for:
Monitoring and operating process equipment, valves, and pumps to ensure safe, accurate chemical production. Safely handling hazardous materials while wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators and chemical suits. Following detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch records to maintain high-quality standards. Charging raw materials, transferring products, and accurately completing batch documentation. Performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, squatting, and moving drums or pallets with hydraulic equipment.

Packaging finished products, cleaning equipment, and maintaining accurate inventory levels. Preparing and managing hazardous waste and waste manifests appropriately. Supporting the documentation of shipping dangerous goods and waste disposal processes. Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient hand-offs and material readiness.

What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have: A high school diploma or GED. 2+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing or related industry. Experience with SOPs, batch records, and hazardous waste handling. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one. Strong math aptitude and mechanical skills. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. A collaborative attitude and proactive approach to teamwork.

Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, wear respirators, and perform repetitive tasks.
