Join our team at a custom rubber compounding and mixing facility, renowned for delivering high-quality compounds and exceptional service for over fifty years. We are seeking dedicated individuals with a strong track record of great attendance and a willingness to work in a challenging manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Palletizing rubber by weaving long strips of manufactured rubber onto a pallet for shipment.
- Cross-train in various roles, including batching, assisting the mixer, and unloading the mixer.
- Batching involves pulling ingredients and compounds, weighing them according to work orders, and preparing them for mixing to create rubber.
- Assist the mixer and unload the mixer for rubber to be cut into specified strips.
Essential Skills
- Previous production experience.
- Strong work ethic and go-getter mentality.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Forklift operation experience is a plus, especially with sit-down propane forklifts, with potential to operate after direct hire.

Work Environment
The work environment is a very dirty facility due to the rubber production process. Employees will be exposed to rubber dust, which may accumulate on clothing by the end of the day. The facility consists of three buildings where you will work individually at stations, yet collaboratively as part of a team to achieve daily goals.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Corvallis, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
