Welder​/Fitter

Job Description

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to fill a Welder/Fitter position with a fabrication shop located in Corvallis, OR. The person in this position will be working on several projects utilizing blueprints and welding on mild steel and stainless steel.

PAY: $20-$29/hr

Fluxcore Welder/Fitter Responsibilities:

• Most projects utilize flux core dual shield and hardwire MIG.

• Other projects may require stainless MIG and/or stick knowledge.

• Fit and fabricate from prints.

• Operate shop equipment to cut to length and prep projects.

• Work on a large variety of industrial construction and fabrication projects.

Fluxcore Welder/Fitter

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of welding experience

• Able to read blueprints.

• Fit and Fabrication skills required.

• Excellent wirefeed MIG skills.

• Strong ability to self-manage.

• Must have proper tools to accomplish jobs.

• Forklift and overhead crane operation experience.

• Ability to read a tape measure and other layout tools proficiently.

• Pass a drug screen.

Compensation:
