Position Summary:As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for collecting, inspecting, and packaging glass fiber material to meet strict visual, weight, and packaging standards. Your attention to detail and ability to follow safety and quality procedures will help ensure that customer orders are accurately filled and shipped on time.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate machinery and equipment used to collect, compress, bind, and package glass fiber products.
- Use hydraulic lift trucks to move packaged materials (training provided).
- Inspect products for quality and weight consistency before final packaging.
- Label and seal finished product bales and record key production data.
- Clear jams and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Follow written and verbal instructions from supervisors.
- Assist with maintenance and cleanup tasks during scheduled line downtime.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and wear all required PPE (steel-toed boots, safety eyewear, hearing protection).
- Adhere to company safety policies, environmental standards, and ISO quality procedures.
- Minimum 1 month of related experience, training, or education.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.
- Ability to follow simple instructions and perform basic problem‑solving.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, reaching, squatting, and stair climbing.
- Willingness to complete internal forklift certification.
- Fast‑paced manufacturing environment with high heat, noise, and moving machinery.
- Regular physical activity required throughout the shift.
- Must be able to interact professionally and courteously with team members under varying conditions.
- Multiple Shifts, Days, Swing, Night and a Jump Shift.
