Overview
The Director of Foundations and System Campaigns provides senior fundraising leadership for Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center and clinics and serves as the primary execution lead for major fundraising campaigns and strategic philanthropy initiatives across Samaritan Health Services. This role is primarily responsible for securing philanthropic revenue through major and leadership gifts and for executing system-wide fundraising campaigns, including capital and strategic priority campaigns, within the strategic framework and governance established by the Vice President of Foundations.
Serves as the chief frontline fundraiser and campaign executor for Good Samaritan and Samaritan system initiatives, working in close partnership with the Vice President of Foundations, foundation leadership, hospital and system executives, physicians, board members, and community partners. Acts as the primary philanthropic representative for the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation while ensuring alignment between local fundraising efforts and broader system priorities, preserving local community identity and donor relationships.
Manages development efforts of the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation, including financial stewardship of foundation assets and allocation of funds.

As active members in the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy, team members are dedicated to developing philanthropic relationships that are guided by the Donor Bill of Rights and managed with integrity and respect.
- Bachelor s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
- Seven (7) years of progressive fundraising experience, including significant frontline major gift work required.
- Experience personally soliciting and closing major gifts of $50,000 or more required.
- Experience executing or leading components of large-scale fundraising campaigns required.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising goals required.
- Experience with fundraising CRM systems and data-informed decision making required.
- Experience working in a multi-site or matrixed organization preferred.
- Healthcare philanthropy or large nonprofit campaign experience strongly preferred.
