Volunteer Event Team Member - Community & Trot

The Corvallis Parks & Recreation host several special events a year. These large community events are designed to improve the quality of life in the community, help create a sense of belonging, help support local business, and most importantly, are fun! These large events need the help of numerous volunteers who have the same interest in supporting the community, strengthen relationships, and getting involved.

Volunteers like you will be valuable for our next exciting event:

The Corvallis Turkey Trot is a 10K, 5K, or 1K "little gobbler’s" FUNdrasier walk/run on Thanksgiving morning. Come help raise money for the P&R Scholarship Fund and help children, adults, seniors and families gain access to valuable programs like swimming lessons, basketball, cooking classes, yoga, day camps and more!

Volunteer positions range from helping with packet pickup in the days leading to the event, course monitor, water station support, mascots and much more! Come help the community burn some calories before that tasty thanksgiving meal.

Other special events such as ribbon cuttings, art exhibits, special tree plantings also occur.
