Position: Road Maintenance Worker 2
Benton County is actively looking for a motivated and hard-working individual to serve as a Road Maintenance Worker 2.

Job Summary

Operate heavy equipment that requires considerable knowledge of equipment capability, county road system, road system structures. This position is distinguished from the Road Maintenance Worker 1 (Light) and (Medium) classifications by the types of equipment assigned, complexity of work performed, and the level of decision making.

Minimum Qualifications

The following minimum qualifications are required for this position:

* 5 years of experience in a related position or specialization.

An equivalent combination of closely related education and experience may be accepted. Please note candidates must have at least 6 months of actual work experience to be considered as equivalent.

Special Requirements

* Possession of a valid Oregon CDL Class A driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

* Must obtain an ODOT Flagger card within 6 months after hire.

* Must obtain a First Aid/CPR/AED within 6 months after hire
