Job Title:
Registered Nurse – Day Surgery (Pre-Op/Post-Op)
Shift Options: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM OR 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (4 or 5 days per week)
Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Day Surgery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional patient care in both Pre-Operative and Post-Operative (Pre-Op/Post-Op) settings. This role requires a proactive, team-oriented nurse who can help maintain an efficient and smooth workflow within a fast-paced surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in Pre-Op and Post-Op phases
- Prepare patients for surgical procedures, including assessments and documentation
- Monitor patients during recovery and provide post-anesthesia care
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to clinical protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and communicate updates effectively
- Support efficient patient flow to keep OR operations running smoothly
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon
