Registered Nurse – CVOR

Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse

Provide specialized cardiovascular operating room nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures, ensuring safety, compliance, and optimal outcomes. Support surgical teams and manage preoperative and postoperative patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive nursing care to cardiac surgery patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to coordinate patient treatment plans.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to intraoperative changes promptly.
• Maintain sterile techniques and assist with scrubbing during surgeries.
• Document patient information accurately and ensure compliance with facility protocols.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, care plans, and post-discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Hold an unencumbered Oregon RN license.
• Possess current BLS certification from Healthcare Provider level.
• Obtain and maintain AHA ACLS certification.
• Bring CVOR or Open Heart surgery experience.
• Prefer ICU and scrubbing experience in a surgical setting.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
