Registered Nurse PACU

$2420.80/week -

Job Summary:

The PACU Registered Nurse provides specialized postoperative care to patients recovering from anesthesia. This role involves close monitoring of vital signs, pain management, and addressing immediate postoperative needs to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients' vital signs, pain levels, and overall condition during recovery from anesthesia.
• Administer medications and fluids as prescribed to manage pain and support recovery.
• Recognize and respond promptly to complications or adverse reactions, escalating issues as necessary.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient progress, interventions, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly.

Qualifications:

• Hold an unencumbered Oregon RN license.
• Maintain Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification.
• Possess ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Demonstrate previous PACU or critical care experience.
• Exhibit strong assessment skills and the ability to manage postoperative complications.
