Facilities Technician

Talascend is currently seeking a Facilities Technician for a contract opportunity with our client in Corvallis, Oregon
.

The main function of a facilities technician is to provide general maintenance support for the assigned buildings, ensuring safety, security, and proper operation of various systems.

• Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well‑maintained.
• Troubleshoot power, HVAC system and controls, and mechanical systems.
• Maintain general & preventative maintenance, carpentry, plumbing systems, and vendor management.
• Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed.
• Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials, as requested.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years of experience required.
• Electrical knowledge and HVAC equipment/control systems experience.
• Commercial and industrial experience with a controls background.
• Experience with building management systems.
• Well‑rounded commercial HVAC experience including pumps, boilers, chillers, controls, etc.
• Experience managing a team of up to five workers is a plus.

• EPA Universal certification highly preferred.
• LME or LEB certification is a plus.
