Industrial Mechanic

Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. (JLL) seeks an Industrial Mechanic to support mission-critical building and industrial equipment within a commercial real estate portfolio. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, pumps, motors, and material-handling systems, troubleshoot mechanical and pneumatic issues, and ensure minimal downtime for tenants and clients. This hands-on role partners closely with facility managers and vendors, follows strict safety and compliance standards, and supports JLL's commitment to reliability, sustainability, and a high-performance, client-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial and building systems (HVAC, pumps, motors, conveyors).
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment to minimize downtime.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment using technical manuals, schematics, and CMMS work orders.
• Support facility operations by maintaining tools, parts, and critical spares inventory.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and installations.
• Follow safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and JLL standards to ensure a safe work environment.
• Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations for asset reliability improvements.
• Assist in energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives through equipment optimization.
• Collaborate with engineers, property and facility managers on capital projects and upgrades.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
