This flexible position allows substitutes to workwithmultiple

Supported Individual sand pick up shifts based on program needs. Candidates with broad availability (including evenings, overnights, and weekends) are especially encouraged to apply, as available shifts will vary. To remain active on the substitute list, substitutes commit to working a minimum of 20 hours per month.

Job Summary:

Direct Support Professionalsassistpeople with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enjoy active, productive, and empowered lives by providing support to increase ormaintainthe skills needed to live independently and build relationships in the community.

Minimum Qualifications:

Eligibility for Employment

Ability to passan initial criminal history check from the Department of Human Services Criminal Records Unit and recheck every 2 years  a citizen of the United States or legally able to work in the United States Must be at least eighteen years old and hold a current driving license, insurance, anda good driving record (unless in a non-driving position).Ability to complete required training and annual training thereafter.

The ability tomaintainregular attendance and to perform tasks outlined in this description (with or withouta reasonable accommodation) is an essential function of this position.
