Service Technician in Coshocton

Mancan, in partnership with a local automobile dealership, is searching for a Service Technician. We are looking for a dependable and motivated individual to join a fast‑paced automotive service team. This position is ideal for someone with hands‑on experience or a strong interest in vehicle maintenance and repair.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, fluid services, and part replacements.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using basic diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Inspect vehicles and identify necessary repairs or maintenance needs.
• Rotate, balance, and replace tires as needed.
• Check, top off, and replace fluids including brake, transmission, coolant, and windshield washer fluids.
• Complete minor to moderate repairs such as brakes, belts, hoses, and battery replacements.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings with supervisors or service advisors.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Follow all dealership and safety procedures.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service when needed.

• Previous automotive technician or service technician experience.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, maintenance, and repair procedures.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality workmanship.
• Valid driver’s licence required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Certifications (ASE or similar) are a plus but not required.

Full‑time position Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (schedule may vary based on dealership hours). Pay based on experience: $18–$32 per hour.
