Maintenance Coordinator Weekends

Job Overview

A Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently. Key responsibilities include performing maintenance, troubleshooting, safety inspections, and coordinating maintenance schedules.

• Own setting adjustments for assigned equipment
• Perform equipment maintenance as specified in manufacturer’s manual and/or certification programs
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical failures to restore equipment to operational condition
• Adjust equipment, product or supplies through natural variation to promote maximum efficiency
• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities with production, prioritizing preventive maintenance schedules
• Use SAP efficiently to write and close work orders
• Follow explicit instructions and seek help when needed
• Perform pre‑operation safety inspections per operator’s manual and certification programs
• Ensure equipment operates in compliance with GMP to maintain product cleanliness
• Maintain a positive attitude and build cooperative relationships with operation support departments
• Demonstrate excellent safety actions and make safety the top priority
• Assist supervisors and line employees with training on production equipment
• Stay thoroughly versed in all safety matters for the job, department, and plant
• Calculate process measurements such as yield, utilization, or nonconformity rates
• Communicate with appropriate personnel regarding tasks to maximize efficiency
• Apply good maintenance practices to achieve high quality and yield
• Follow Operations Quality Product Specifications during work
• Comply with accident prevention and compliance programs
• Follow safety‑data‑sheet instructions for chemical use
• Set up and tear down production equipment
• Perform additional duties as directed by supervisors
• Work shift schedules:
  Fri‑Sun 3:00 am‑3:00 pm and Fri‑Sun 3:00 pm‑3:00 am

The employee must meet the following qualifications:

• Knowledge of industrial, mechanical, and electrical maintenance
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• High reliability and punctuality
• Ability to work safely under all conditions
• Full‑time commitment with willingness to work overtime
• Ability to perform general maintenance consistent with plant policy and standards

Hours of work cover normal production running hours. Pay rate: $24 – $27 per hour.
