Production Worker

Job Description

A general laborer will support overall operations at SanCasT by lifting, moving, and transporting materials and equipment, assisting with basic maintenance and cleaning duties, and adhering to safety protocols and procedures.

• Perform safe operations and handle materials and equipment
• Process all paperwork related to assembly/disassembly and packaging
• Maintain housekeeping and production quality standards
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

• High School Diploma or GED, or two years of related experience/training or equivalent combination in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and follow quality process instructions
• Compliance with safety rules and use of personal protective equipment
• Read and interpret production schedules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals
• Effective communication with coworkers

• Knowledge of general plant practices, floor layout, and procedures
• Strong mechanical skills and lean manufacturing practices
• Ability to perform continual and heavy lifting and operate a 3‑ton forklift truck
• Basic math skills and ability to read rules and digital calipers
• Perform repeated movements and tasks daily
• Follow instructions, basic comprehension, reading skills
• Good communication skills
• Work rotating shift and overtime as required
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Adhere to safety regulations, practices, and company policies
• Learn quickly and apply new skills immediately

The hourly rate for this role is $16.50 - $19.00 per hour.
