JOB DESCRIPTION BRIQUETTE MANUFACTURING FORKLIFT OPERATOR
Job :
Full‑time position
Monday through Friday
Pay: $18 an hour
Great Benefits. Paid time off including Holidays and Vacation.
Responsibilities:
- Use forklift to move racks of green block from production to the curing kilns and return the cured block to the production area.
- When producing materials to be palletized, the operator should also bring empty pallets to the cubing machine and take palletized material to be wrapped.
- Completed pallets should be moved to the storage area and stacked in the proper row with the same material. Placed in neat stacks in straight rows with the identification on the front of the pallets so they can easily be seen by the individual loading them on the trucks.
- Forklift operator helps with day end cleaning up in the plant. His job will be to clean the mixer and the area around it.
- On days when the plant is not running the operator will help with general labor and maintenance in the plant.
