Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the development, management, and implementation of electronic, print, and trade show marketing communications.
This position reports to the Marketing Specialist.
What you'll be doing Coordination of Electronic Marketing & Media- Writes, coordinates, and edits copy for website updates, press releases, product literature, email marketing.
- Manages and edits content for external website to ensure that content is accurate and current. Implements new pages and regular content updates to keep website fresh.
- Implements and manages company social media presence (e.g. Twitter, Instagram, Linked-in)
- Designs, implements, and manages regular email marketing communications (e.g. e-newsletters, flyers, holiday greetings, etc.)
- Tracks corporate web site traffic using Google Analytics traffic metrics / analytics. Manages Search Engine Optimization (SEO) changes to the company website to increase search engine ranking and site optimization.
- Generates regular reports to management on effectiveness of web and social media communications.
- Manages consistent company image through logo, letterhead, business cards, presentation templates, signage, labels, and other internal and external documents
- Works with the sales department to generate and maintain printed marketing collateral (e.g. advertisements, product data sheets, white papers, company brochures, etc.)
- Identifies new documents needed, writes and edits copy, generates layouts and graphics, and produces finished documents with consistent company-wide look and feel.
- Designs, implements, and manages regular print mail marketing communications (e.g. trade show flyers, advertisements, holiday greetings, etc.)
- Manages inventory of company-branded gifts/gratuities (e.g. golf balls, pens, flashlights, trade show giveaways, etc.)
Manages the coordination, planning, organization, and support of company trade show exhibitions (between 5-10 per year)
- Reserves booth locations, ensures company presence is well represented.
- Arranges delivery and setup of booth and related marketing materials.
- Coordinates meetings, dinners, and customer events for show.
- Manages trade show services (food, beverage, electric, A/V, booth assembly).
- 4-year bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, communications or a related field desired.
- 1-3 years of experience working in marketing and/or advertising is desired.
- Experience is required in writing copy, designing layouts and marketing collateral, and producing finished documents.
- Experience in best business practices for marketing communications for business‑to‑business sales support is required.
- Excellent ability to write and tailor messages to communicate key attributes of Wiley Companies products and services to customers. Ability to take highly technical information about products and rewrite for a wider non‑technical audience.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills. Must have the ability to manage and generate content under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Must have demonstrated experience in using industry standard page layout, image, and graphics editing software (e.g. Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Must have a sound understanding of good marketing principles, including an effective understanding of how to utilize the latest graphics and social media technologies in marketing communications.
- Must be self‑motivated, confident, energetic, and creative.
- Must be articulate and professional in both verbal and written communications.
The Marketing Coordinator will be based at the 545 Walnut Street, Coshocton, Ohio facility.
Intermittent travel to visit customers, suppliers, vendors, industry trade shows, training events and conferences will be required. Attendance of all industry trade shows at which Wiley Companies is an exhibitor is expected. Regular travel is not expected to exceed twenty (20) business days per year. International travel to Group of Twenty (G20) countries to support trade show and customer events may be required…
