Night Shift, 12-hour per diem rotation

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. The RN provides direct patient care within the scope of practice and directs patient/family teaching and supervising other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit. The RN is directly responsible and accountable for the care of assigned patients, communicates with physicians regarding changes in the patient’s clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic study results and symptomatology, and responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or treatment response.

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.
• Current ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire; maintenance preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
