Weekday 3rd shift Quality Tech

Job Description

Under the direction of the Quality/Sanitation Staff, the occupant of this skilled position will be responsible for ensuring:
1) that products are produced and tested to specification;
2) compliance and training to Kraft Standards, HACCP, TQC, SSOP, and Regulatory requirements.

• Pre‑op and other documentation review and follow‑up
• Lab equipment calibrations
• Tagging, testing, and disposition of suspect product
• Water quality analyses
• Pickle and product compliance analyses
• Residual air and opening force testing
• Microbiological swabs and samples preparation and processing
• Maintaining lab supplies inventory
• Product shelf life sample collection and evaluation
• Sanitation and quality data entry
• Test chemical concentrations
• Light level monitoring
• Temperature and humidity in product areas
• Maintenance housekeeping survey
• Posted forms and controlled documents survey
• Belly evaluation data
• Complaints and concerns to suppliers
• Green room charts/postings preparation
• Spec changes and updates to procedures and documents
• BOS observations
• Miscellaneous records filing, copying, and faxing
• Serve as emergency back‑up for other quality department representatives
• Miscellaneous quality work as assigned

• Computer/software, mathematics, and graphs familiarity
• Organizational skill, flexibility, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and initiative
• Teamwork priority

Starting at $21.87 per hour.
