. This full-time, primarily in-office role offers a competitive salary range of $75,000-$140,000 based on experience. The ideal candidate brings strong technical tax expertise, hands‑on experience preparing complex returns, and confidence working directly with clients. • Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, S‑corporation, and partnership tax returns.
• Oversee multiple tax engagements simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
• Provide proactive tax planning strategies and advisory guidance to clients.
• Review returns and work papers prepared by junior staff, offering mentorship and quality control.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding tax positions, compliance matters, and planning opportunities.
• Monitor updates to federal and California state tax laws to ensure compliance.

• Several years of experience in public accounting or focused tax preparation.
• Strong technical knowledge of individual and business tax compliance.
• Ability to manage deadlines independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a client‑service mindset.
• CPA license preferred but not required.

• Primarily onsite position in Costa Mesa, California.
• Limited remote flexibility may be available based on experience and performance.
