SeniorAccountant
A Senior Accountant is needed for a growing company in the real estate industry. This position will support the Accounting Manager in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the accounting records and reporting in an efficient and timely manner.
Workplace:
This position must complete an initial in-office onboard training, but then has the opportunity to either continue working in-office or from home.
Compensation: Pay: $38.00-$45.00 Hourly DOE
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Vacation and Sick, 401K
Responsibilities- Prepares and posts journal entries as part of the monthly closing process
- Provide accounting for a company owner in Quick Books, ensuring accurate transaction recording, reconciliations, and timely organization of personal financial data
- Reviews accounts payable disbursements, assisting with related questions or staff training
- Prepares reconciliations and analyses of accounts
- Prepares financial report packages and analyses for senior management and investors
- Assists with the monthly budget variance analysis and cash flow forecast process for operating expenses
- Supports the properties in all accounting matters
- Assist with payroll accounting as needed
- Assists with preparing company-wide budget schedules
- Assist with quarterly and annual bank reporting
- Participates in continuous improvement of internal processes, procedures, and controls
- Assists with special projects and ad hoc reporting as needed
- Position duties and work schedule may change according to business needs at any time or as instructed by management

- Minimum Education:
BA/BS degree in accounting or related field - Minimum Experience:
3 years of full-cycle accounting - Accurate, thorough, and detail-oriented
- Must be very organized
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude and works well in a team environment
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Quick Books, Yardi, and/or other accounting software a plus
