Job Summary
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and dependable Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for managing day‑to‑day accounting functions, including processing invoices, handling vendor payments, tracking receivables, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and able to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities- Process accounts payable invoices and vendor payments
- Generate and send customer invoices
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances
- Reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts
- Maintain accurate financial and accounting records
- Assist with month‑end closing and reporting
- Enter data accurately into accounting systems
- Communicate with vendors and customers regarding billing inquiries
- Support the accounting team with administrative tasks as needed
- Previous AP/AR or accounting experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
- Reliable and professional work ethic
- Experience with Quick Books, Net Suite, or ERP systems is a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
- Associate’s degree or accounting coursework preferred
