Senior Accountant

Are you an experienced accounting professional who enjoys balancing technical accounting, financial reporting, and operational excellence? We're looking for a Senior Accountant to play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting compliance initiatives, and driving process improvements across our accounting function.

Own the General Ledger

• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and chart of accounts.
• Reconcile sub‑ledgers and ensure accurate journal entries and system interfaces.
• Support accurate and timely financial reporting.

Manage Core Accounting Operations

• Oversee full‑cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes, including accruals and account reconciliations.
• Help streamline processes and improve efficiency across accounting operations.

Drive Compliance & Reporting

• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Prepare and support tax filings, including income, property, sales/use tax, and 1099 reporting.
• Respond to government surveys and compliance requests.

Apply Technical Accounting Expertise

• Support revenue recognition (ASC 606) and lease accounting (ASC 842).
• Assist with implementation and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures.
• Research and apply accounting guidance as needed.

Strengthen Internal Controls

• Support and maintain internal controls and compliance programs, including Korean SOX requirements.
• Participate in special projects, reporting initiatives, and process improvement efforts.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

5–7 years of progressive accounting experience

Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS

Experience with ASC 606 and ASC 842

Financial statement preparation and analysis experience

Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

Experience working with SAP GUI or similar ERP systems

CPA designation or progress toward certification

Experience in a multinational or manufacturing environment

Korean language skills are a plus
