Construction Billing Specialist (Contracts)

We are partnering with a growing company in the manufacturing space seeking a Contract Billing Specialist to manage project-based billing from start to finish. This role supports complex billing tied to contracts, production timelines, and customer requirements.

• Manage full-cycle contract billing, including progress billing and invoicing tied to production milestones
• Review contracts, purchase orders, and change orders to ensure billing compliance, including lien waivers and retainage tracking
• Partner with project managers, customers, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and support timely billing and closeout
• Maintain accurate billing records, support month-end close, and assist with reporting and forecasting
• Use ERP systems and customer billing portals to submit invoices and supporting documentation

• 4+ years of experience in contract billing, manufacturing, or project-based environments
• Strong understanding of progress billing, retainage, and contract compliance
• Experience working with customer billing portals and ERP/accounting systems (Net Suite or similar preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

This is not a standard AR role; ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with complex, contract-driven billing in manufacturing or a similar project-based environment.
