E-Motion Engineering is seeking an experienced automotive technician to join our team and assist our lead mechanic in back-of-house operations. This role is perfect for a skilled professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a passion for high-performance automotive work.
Key Responsibilities- Assist lead mechanic with diagnostic, repair, and maintenance procedures
- Support automotive assembly and disassembly operations
- Perform routine maintenance and complex mechanical repairs
- Collaborate closely with team members in a fast-paced workshop environment
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- Ensure all safety protocols and quality standards are met
Education:
- No minimum educational requirement
- Basic knowledge of Porsche vehicles OR extensive motorsports experience
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a close-knit team environment
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Experience with Porsche PIWIS diagnostic tools
- Electrical diagnosis and coding capabilities
- Automotive assembly experience
- Porsche-specific technical knowledge
- Pay based on experience and qualifications
- 90-day temporary position with strong potential for permanent placement
- Opportunity to work with high-end automotive equipment and vehicles
